My ol’ pappy once said, "Never eat a meal you can’t outrun." That’s good advice, I think. I assume what he meant was a derivative of the old adage; never bite off more than you can chew. Either that, or he’s completely off his nut like so many other Gifford men. But in keeping with the assumed theme of his statement, we’ve made a few changes to The Met Magazine this time around. |

It is always interesting, especially as a grandfather, to sit back and observe the family at Christmas. Somewhere between the pre-Christmas shopping blitz and the grand kids devouring presents at a frantic pace in the morning, you realize that most of us are pretty "me-centered." |
